Alisha graduated from NYU Stern with a Finance and Marketing degree in 2011 and went on to work at Hindustan Unilever in the Skin Care Category where she honed her marketing skills. She then made her foray into the food industry as she went on to co-found The Belgian Waffle Co in 2015 and led its branding and marketing efforts. She is also presently the co-founder and CEO at Hotchaa!, a young startup that retails gourmet Chilli Oils and Hot Sauces. She has worked extensively in the Event, Wedding and Travel Industry with Tamarind Global in marketing and business development and now leads Strategy for the company. She is a big foodie and has a passion for music, travel and entrepreneurship.
